Vertical lines on 13" MacBook Pro Retina

Hi guys,

After some assistance/ diagnosis with my 2014 A1502 13" retina MacBook Pro.

Was all functioning ok until this morning. I plugged the laptop into my LG 34um67 34" monitor for the first time and it wasn't displaying correctly on the screen. When I unplugged the laptop I started to see lines like the ones shown below.

The laptop does display fine on the external display now but after numerous restarts and PRAM resets the laptop is still showing these vertical lines. Any idea what it may be?

Thank in advance!

GPU is failing, or bad cable or bad connection.

Take it in: https://www.apple.com/support/macbookpro-videoissues/

Your Mac is not in the recall, with any luck you are under warranty.

In or out of warranty you can get a free over the counter 'Apple Service Diagnostics' test.
