Not possible. If it is that important to know someone received the e-mail - - suggest you include in message to please acknowledge receipt from receiver.
Note that while you can insert a header to request a receipt, your recipient's email client has to support responding. If they are using Mail, it will not respond at all to that request. Other email clients may support responding when authorized by the user. If they disable it, you will not get a response. Therefore, it is nearly useless.
