How to delete an app when extensions are in use

Hello -

I'm trying to delete Dropbox from my Mac. I get an error message kindly letting me know that the program cannot be deleted because extensions are in use. I've quit the program from the task bar (upper right-hand corner) and made sure it's not an extension in Safari. Where else should I go?

Please and thank you!

Sarah

Open Activity Monitor in your Applications/Utilities Folder and force quit the Dropbox process by clicking on the process and use the quit box.
