How to mask text message on lock screen?

Good morning! I know that Android devices are capable of masking text messages so that when a text comes in (I believe it's called Privacy Mode), all that shows on the lock screen is "Text Message: contents hidden" or something to that effect. Is there a way of doing this on the iPhone as well?

From what I can tell, my options are either to hide the text message altogether so that it doesn't appear on the lock screen at all, or hide the preview so that the sender shows but the message preview does not. I would like to be able to receive a visible notification on the lock screen that I have a text message waiting but with no visible sender or preview.

Thanks!

iPhone 6, iOS 8.3

Yes, those are currently your options.
