You go to: Apple - My Apple ID, sign in with your Apple ID and password, and in the Security section, click on the Edit button next to the Trusted Phone Numbers:

I already have a trusted number, but I want to change it... there is no option to remove the existing and replace.

yes, but it gives no option to delete it. However, I figured it out,.. you need to add the second trusted number, only then can you delete the original one.
I have the same problem cant change trusted phone number Or add a new one.
You cannot delete the number if you only have one, so you have to add the second one before you can delete the original. What is preventing you from adding one?

i dont have the option of trusted phone numbers I dont know why
Do you have 2 step verification or Authentication enabled? If not, there is no place to enter a trusted number.
