Apple Pay

Q: Can't add card to Apple Pay

Today my bank started supporting Apple Pay in Canada and when i go to my banks website it says the card i have is comparable with Apple Pay, but when i try to add it i keep getting messages like " card no supported" "cannot connect to Apple Pay" and "could not add card". I know for a fact my card is supported and I've been trying to add it since this morning.

    Try restarting your iPhone then try again.


    1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the red slider appears.
    2. Drag the slider to turn your device completely off.
    3. After the device turns off, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button again until you see the Apple logo.

    My bank CIBC has been supporting Apple Pay for a few weeks, however I still can't add my Visa. The annoying thing is they are advertising aggressively that they support Apple Pay. I use Amex,it works perfectly with Apple Pay.

    This worked for me. Try signing out of iCloud on that device and then signing back in.

    why my appleID cannot connect with my bank card.
