Samsung wireless surround won't work with Airport wifi network
I have a smart tv with a soundbar and two wireless speakers - all Samsung. I should be able to set up surround sound through the wireless network much like this http://support-us.samsung.com/cyber/popup/iframe/pop_troubleshooting_fr.jsp?idx= 629802&modelname=WAM7500&modelcode=WAM7500/ZA
This works fine when connecting to the router provided by my ISP, Sky. But when I try to do the same when connecting to the network created through Airport it won't work - specifically, I am unable to select “Multiroom link” (step 19 in the link above).
Note: There is no problem connecting to the wifi network - it's this final step that is the issue.
Any ideas as to why this may be the case? I need to use the extended network as the wifi from the sky hub is very weak where the TV is.
Here's the setup ...
Router ----> Airport Extreme ----> Airport Express ----> TV + Surround Sound
(The Airport extreme is set to bridge mode and the Express extending the wifi network.)
Thanks
Jeremy
