one keyboard note doesn't play .. only in Logic

Hi, I posted last month, no responses:

I use Logic Pro 10.2.2, Mac OS 10.9.5, with an Alesis QX49 midi controller keyboard.

Pressing the note F#2 on my Alesis keyboard no longer plays or even registers in Logic.

This happens in any Logic song or instrument.

However, F#2 and the entire keyboard plays fine in Garage Band. So it must be a Logic problem.

The problem started a few months ago; that key played fine in Logic previously. All the other keys work.

I don't see any Logic preference, setting, key command, filter etc. muting or related to F#2.

Please let me know if any suggestions?
