remove drop zone

How do I remove Drop Zone.

It has suddenly appeared as I opened a document downloaded months ago. I notice that its icon is not on many of my file documents. The document will open and close as usual but the Drop Zone window will not close unless I restart the computer . Also I don't want it controling documents that were not dowloaded using that program.

I have searched my HD my user accoung and the Applications fils and find not Drop Zone program.

.Please be awre I am very untechie so speak slowly in words of few syllables.
