do I need to switch off wireless keyboard and mouse each time after shutting down the iMac?

Hi, I just bought a iMac.. I would like to know after shutting it down daily, do I need to switch off the wireless mouse and keyboard too? Or can I just leave them on? Will they go under auto switch off mode? I'm wondering which way is better for maintaining the usage of the mouse and keyboard.. Now I'm switching them on and off daily.. Please advise me soon, thank you.
