This (https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6832962) discussion said that a Samsung 850 EVO 500GB 2.5-Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-75E500B/AM) although will fit is not really preferred because accordint to Kappy, " computer does not support SATA III 6.0 Gb/s SSDs". How do I know what my macbook can support? I cant see it the apple page 😟 THANKS

Macbook Mid-2012 13-inch non-retina has Sata-3.0 , 6gb. connection.

If you have a 2012 MBP, it supports SATA3 connectivity. The Crucial SSD that you posted a link to will be compatible.
Based on my personal experience and reputation, Crucial and OWC SSDs are the preferred ones to install in a MBP.
Note that Kappy was referring to a 2008 MBP, not a 2012. That does not apply to your situation.
