That's basically my question. I'd like to know how they're displayed by default in the iPad. Or does it differ depending on what browser you're using? Many thanks in advance 🙂

A web site that has a mobile version and auto-detects the browser will serve up the mobile version, on any mobile device. You can then request the desktop site, and some sites will remember that preference with a cookie, but some do not.
I was reading some posts and I thought because of the resolution it was set to show the desktop version. Thanks for your help!
You're welcome. Note that the version that gets displayed is based not on resolution at all, but on operating system and browser version detected by the host server.
