I received a free ebook from a fellow author, and downloaded it ti iBooks on my iPad.
I have tried to remove it, but it keeps coming back. How can I get rid of it permanently?
Unlike other iBook titles, this one shows a circular download feature after the title.
I've tried moving it, successfully, and have deleted both the download and the title, but it keeps reappearing.
Any helpful suggestions will be appreciated.

Since those troubleshooting steps didn't work, I have another suggestion for you. Let's try to hide the book. To hide books, use iBooks on a Mac and iTunes for Windows on a PC.
When you hide an item on your computer, the item also hides from all of your other devices.
Use the article Hide and unhide iTunes Store, App Store, or iBooks Store purchases, specifically this section:
In iBooks
- Open iBooks, then click iBooks Store.
- Under Quick Links on the right side of the iBooks Store, click Purchased.
- If prompted, sign in with your Apple ID and password.
- Scroll to find the item that you want to hide. Hold your pointer over the item and look for the X icon
in the upper-left corner. Click the
- When prompted to confirm that you want to hide the item, click Hide. The item hides.
