Sleep Indicator Light not pulsating

I noticed that the Sleep Indicator Light of my Mac Pro 2013 does not pulsate anymore during sleep. Does it mean the Mac cannot really sleep anymore? (The displays get not signal though.)

Looking into the Console log, I also noticed one strange thing that even happens during (non-pulsing) sleep: There are lots of WindowServer[220]: VFBGetDeviceTransfer messages, apparently always 8 per second; e.g.

08.06.16 14:42:20,366 WindowServer[220]: VFBGetDeviceTransfer

08.06.16 14:42:20,366 WindowServer[220]: VFBGetDeviceTransfer

I found out that closing f.lux stops getting these VFBGetDeviceTransfer log messages 🙂 So this might be a bug in the f.lux software.

However SIL is still not pulsating during sleep. So these seem to be two separate issues!

System Preferences/Energy Saver - is Wake for network access checked?

It was checked indeed. I unchecked it now -- but still SIL not pulsating during sleep.

Are you connected to a Windows Server?

No. Thanks anyway 😁
