Amplitube 4 in GarageBand 11

Amplitube 4 in GarageBand 11

Hi! I just purchased Amplitube 4, but I could not find it in GarageBand. I have been using Amplitube 3 in GB, so I know where and how to find it, but Amplitube 4 is nowhere to be found.

I did a little bit research, and found this instruction on web, the web page is here (http://www.sweetwater.com/sweetcare/articles/how-to-get-amplitube-4-presets-to-a ppear-in-garageband/). however, i could not find the folder com.apple.garageband10 in Containers.

Could anyone give me some instructions on how to run Amplitube 4 in Garagband 11? Or, could anyone help me figure out why i could not find that folder com.apple.garageband10 in Containers?

Select the track, hit the info button, and look under "audio units" in the plug-in window. See lower left-hand corner of this photo:

If you are running GarageBand '11, there will be no com.apple.garageband10 folder. That is installed by Garageband 10. GarageBand '11, version 6.0.5 does not have the sandbox in Containers.

In GarageBand '11 you add the effects in the Info panel for the track, in the Edit" tab. Click one of the free bricks to add the plug-in.
