How are the backlight built-into the macbook pro 2015?
Is it built edge lit or back lit? what are they using to light the monitor up?

The built-in display on the current MacBook Pro Retina is a LCD display with LED backlighting. According to iFixit who regularly dismantle new Macs there are a row of 48 LEDs across the bottom of the screen.
