Why is my bluetooth symbol flickering on the menu bar?
Hey all,
I have a 2015 Macbook Retina Pro with 3.1GHZ i7 processor and 16GB ram on El Capitan 10.11.5 that is having some weird issues with bluetooth. When I'm doing my normal activities (web browsing, typing reports, etc), the bluetooth symbol will start flickering on the menu bar, even though I don't have it on previously, nor is there any bluetooth device nearby that has low battery. Not only is the symbol flickering, it also is turning my bluetooth signal on and off, and I cannot force it to stay off or on until it stops flickering. I've tried restarting and shutting down, force quitting systems preferences, to no avail. There is not a pattern or trigger application that sets off the flickering, as it just happens randomly. Any advice?
