WIth mij new iPhone SE, I can't fine my carkit with bluetooth.
There was NO problem with my iPhone 4.

Have you been ever able to connect? If so in bluetooth tap the i icon for the carkit and tap forget device. Then try to re-pair.
Is there a way you can reset the carkit? Try and reset then try and repair.
Rest all settings if still not able to connect (Settings> general> reset> "rest all settings").

With this new phone I have never had connection.
I resetted the carkit by getting the fuse out for a while.
The carkit does still not appear in the list.
Then I tried the old iPhone, and the carkit appears and connects!
It seems to me that my carkit is to old for iPhone SE.
(It is a VW UHV)

The car kit may not support pairing with more than one device at a time. Removing the fuse may not be enough to erase the pairing from the car kit. Read the manual for the car kit or contact the manufacturer for assistance.
