DEVICE REMOVAL MESSSAGE

Hi,

I recently unplugged my ipod 30gb video after updating and charging it via my g4 mac. I accidently unplugged it before ejecting it in the correct way. However, since doing that I have continued to get the device removal message, even when I am not in itunes and am just simply surfing the net.

Does anyone know how to stop this from happening?
