At the top of my iPhone 6 receiver i noticed two holes or rather sensors. I just wanted to know what these sensors are for. You can barely see it however if you look closely you will notice it. Any idea?

You're correct (though I would have said they were on the front of the phone). One is the proximity sensor and the other is the ambient light sensor.
The iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S have sensors in the same places.
You are talking about the receiver/front microphone, and the FaceTime camera as illustrated here.
Thank you for your response, however im talking about the the two holes above the receiver, as mentioned earlier you cannot see the holes clearly unless you shine a bright light on it. From my research it looks like one is the proximity sensor and the other is a light sensor. I just wanted to make sure if im right. One of the sensors is right above the elongated receiver/microphone and the other one is slightly to the left of it ( im not talking about the camera) Thank you.
