Will RAM improve start time of Adobe Creative Cloud Apps?

Hi there,

The title is pretty self explanatory. Just wondering if more RAM will help. I have 4 Gigs of ram currently installed in my iMac, and I'm wondering if upgrading the RAM will help Adobe products launch faster as they are so slow to start. Office 2016 is also slow to start.

Thanks!

I purchased a top of the line refurb late 2012 27" iMac last year and with Applecare, it is covered until early 2018 - not bad for a 2012. I did this because I need a machine that can run Mavericks for my movie work as the apps I use do not work with Yosemite or later and the newer apps are not for precise editing nor can you export with quality/size options for DVD burning.

I did go for "new and exciting" with a new iPad Pro though.......

im still using my iPad Mini First Gen! but it is starting to lag, I don't know if I'd like to update seeing that I don't use it nearly as much as my iPhone 6 or iMac. I'd still have a 2007 MacBook Pro until next year if it didn't die on me in 2010. I loved that little MacBook Pro. It ran everything fluid and didn't start to slow at all. My 2012 MacBook Pro is much faster than my iMac with its Intel Pro Graphics which confuses me as I have dedicated 500Mb on my iMac, but I guess the core i7 on the MBP speeds it up?
