Is it possible to view the keyboard history from my iPhone? (i.e. things that I've typed)

So....#whathadhappenedwas....IT ALL STARTED as I was immersed in the throes of my moment of existence, the Gift of My (un)Awareness that we refer to as "animated" and "conscious" Life existence, typing a rather long text message using the "share" button in Safari to send an inspiring article to a friend currently going through a myriad of Life's ills...BUT THEN...containing all obvious indications of magnanimous inappropriately timed irony , Life succeeds at interrupting Me, $id3-track3d....leaving me without immediate access to the mental record to remind me of the preceding momentum I employed to write the message, STILL UNSENT (but VERY near completion AND obvious deployment) in Safari, rather than the iMessage app I normally type and send "texts"....so unbeknownst to the faculty I use to store this information about what I am doing and have done (bad memories, or good, You're The Decider)....AND completely sans intention, I open a new tab, by mistakingly clicking on an embedded link in iMessage (again, with the irony), and another unintended consequence ensued...the long (but VEERRRY thoughtful) commentary on the pervading situational comedy (and sometimes tragic) circumstances bestowed upon the expectations a person(s) bring to Life was LOST and I scurried to find a way to bring it back to #LIFE.

Can I BY ANY KNOWN or currently UNKNOWN MEANS retrieve this text somehow?? Keep in mind, I did not copy and paste the text, and even if I did, DOES ANYONE OUT THERE KNOW how one can access their clipboard history?? iMean I've been using keyboards, typing various digital documents for almost my entire life, and I can't understand why I wouldn't have access to my keyboard history. Does anyone out there know how I can retrieve this data? The last time I wrote this Apple deleted it...probably because it's impossible to find an answer anywhere else online, and I can imagine for various reasons why they would not want customers to do this, but HOPEFULLY I can get an answer this time.

No, there is no way to do this. The software that does this is called a "key logger". Such apps are generally considered to be malware as they are used to record things like passwords. In order to install one on an iOS device, you'd need to remove the security features Apple puts in place, something that's called "jailbreaking". That's something we're not allowed to discuss here.

Best of luck.

Hey there jelanihasan!

I understand you'd like to know how you can recover your keyboard history. I know there are times when we may need to go back and see what we might've copied, or typed.

Unfortunately if you were using the native iOS keyboard, there is no way to go back and see what you copied, or what you typed. If you were using a third party keyboard, you might've been able too recover some things you might've typed or copied.

I'm sorry that your original post got deleted too, but I hope this helps you out a little more.
