Converted .srt file to UTF-8 and still can't see Hebrew characters.

Hello,

I've downloaded a .srt file and tried to watch "Game of Thrones" episode on Popcorn Time / VLC and could not see Hebrew characters after all.

I have converted the file to UTF-8 and still couldn't see Hebrew characters using TextEdit, Popcorn Time, VLC player.

Download TextWrangler, saved it as UTF-8 with BOM and it wasn't solved yet.

I'm new to OS-X and Mac. Do you have any idea what's the problem?

Conversion done first by iconv and then using TextWrangler.

You need to provide the url for us to get the file ourselves to see what the problem might be.

It is a little bit difficult, because you have to choose 720p HD from the list and then download it, extract it and convert it to UTF-8:

It's too difficult to figure out what you downloaded, just send me a copy of the file before you tried to convert it to utf8.

I was able to open it using Bean text editor with Mac OS Hebrew encoding.

Oddly I don't see that encoding as part of Textwrangler's list (even in preferences).

I could export it from Bean as a UTF-8 text document and then it opened with Hebrew encoding in Textwrangler.
