Yes, I understand about automatic log outs, as on this forum, and on most financial websites. No problem with those. I'm just not understanding why the iOS is logging me out of everything! randomly. When it happens, it's everything, and these are websites that I stay logged into indefinitely, on my Lenovo T430 laptop, as well as on my Lenovo desktop. It's definitely not something that is website related, it's got something to do with a setting in either Safari, or on the iPad itself.
Another mystery - when I got this iPad (about 3wks ago), I likewise got one for my wife. Identical units, other than color of the case (Apple iPad Pro 128GB Wi-Fi only). This was our first Apple product, other than some older iPods. We carefully followed the instructions while initially setting them up, set them up pretty much identically (?), and began exploring. Both units appear to be working perfectly, so far, with this logging out issue being the exception. Quite honestly, I think it must be a setting on my unit, because my wife hasn't been logged out of anything, on her unit, since day one. Yes, it's most likely "an operator problem", so I was hoping someone else may have run across this same situation, and be able to point me in the right direction.
I admit it's strange, and quit an unpredictable event, as I may go several days (4 - 5 or more), without a mass logout, and then I may experience 2 or 3 in one day, maybe multiple occurances within a single hour, and nothing to indicate what may be triggering this. I've looked at setting after setting, and I am pretty much stumped. Usually my first clue that this has occurred, is that I notice that I am not logged into Gmail and/or Google (which I use as my home page on most of my computers). Then I check and see that I am logged out of everything once again.
I have removed all saved usernames and passwords and started over several times, which usually seems to help for an extended period, but eventually seems to fail. Oh, and yes, I do have the setting "to allow cookies from websites I visit", enabled. Again, I'm stumped.
