I Am trying to find the serial number of my Smart Keyboard but the serial inscribed in the cover is not very legible. Is there a way to check other than that in the device itself or via the iPad Pro?

If you bought at an Apple store, then it should have automatically been added to your devices in your support profile.Try the Contact Support link in the upper righthand corner of this page. When I click on that, I am immediately connected to a support site with all my devices. If your keyboard is listed, it should show the serial number.
Does anyone or Apple have any suggestion on how I can get this number because I am no longer able to use Smart Keyboard and Apple Store (Trafford Centre, Manchester UK) Genius Bar support specialist said that if I can't provide serial number, they can't help. I do have receipt from Dixon where I bought this Mac accessory.
Same problem. Apple Store in Liverpool can’t help me because the serial number is illegible. My keypad hasn’t worked for months. Not really very impressed with Apple. I bought the keyboard at John Lewis and can’t find the receipt. They wouldn’t help either. Desperately searching the house for the receipt.
