Please put on/off button back on the top

Please put the on/off button back on the top of the phone! When I press it, I am constantly hitting the volume buttons on the other side. When the on/off button was on the top right of the phone, I did not have this problem.

If some folks prefer it on the right side where it is now, perhaps Apple could offer some models with this button on top, and other models with it on the side.

I have an older iPad. I don't know how the new iPads are designed, but if they, too have the on/off button to the side, then I make the same recommendation for this model as well.
