Q: iPhone is stuck in DFU mode
Hello everyone,
I've been having a hardware problem on my iPhone (charger can hardly charge), so I wanted to reset my iPhone to send it for warranty. The thing is I followed a tutorial on how to reset an iPhone and it told me to set it in DFU mode, which I did.
But now, the iPhone has been stuck on the Apple logo with the empty progression bar beneath it... When I connect it to iTunes (very hard because of my original hardware issue), it orders me to enter my PIN code, but it is not asked on the iPhone, I can't enter it anywhere.
I can't get it out of DFU mode either...
What can I do ? I just want to reset my phone anyway...
Thank you so much by advance!
Renaud.

Have you tried using recovery mode? This is different than DFU mode. Take a look.

For future reference, you do not have to put the phone into DFU mode in order to erase it if you are sending it off for service.
