Upgrading OS10.6.8 TO OS10.7 and possible interactions w/Adobe CS6

Hi, I got a used iMac w/250 GB HD,2.16 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 2GB 667 Mhz DDR2 SDRAM, OS10.6.8 with ADOBE CS6.

I need to upgrade it to OS10.7 and I need to know if they will be any interactions for running the CS6, will I be able to

downgrade back to OS10.6.8 ? I don't want to loose the access to CS6.

FWIW, if you are not the licensed owner of the copy of Adobe CS6 on the machine, you shouldn't have access in the first place.

Also, FWIW, unless you had previously downloaded OS X 10.7 (Lion), the only available

OS X upgrade available for download is El Capitan (OS X 10.11.5).

And as dialabrain mentioned, if CS6 is not licensed to you, you are using it illegally.
