my iPhone 6 mic only works on speakerphone

It’s potentially down to your finger position when holding the handset. If your phone is slipping then ‘this little piggy’ will have you running all the way back to the Iphone shop

Hi Chris! Followed all of your steps, repeatedly, but to no avail. Mics ONLY work properly when on speaker phone (iPhone 6 with all its updates). What to do???

Thanks for posting here. I see your mic only works on speakerphone. I know that it’s important for you to be able to make and receive calls and not have to use speaker phone.
