printing to Canon c7055

I have a co workers with a macbook running OS 10.9.5 and when they print to the Canon C7055 it's gibberish. I have tried different drivers and different setup methods that I found from different post but get the same results. I'm also getting the same results on my macbook and I'm using OS X 10.11.5. I'm using the default drive Canon iR-ADV C7055/7065 and the version is 10.7.0. Any suggestions?
