What does double lighting bolt mean when charging battery?

Manual talks about a single lighting bolt reflecting that the battery is charging, I get a double bolt when I plug it in for charging and even after 100% fully charges. Connections are checked were are fine.

MacBook Air, OS X El Capitan (10.11)

One possibility is that if you are focusing on the white lines you may be seeing that as 2 lightning bolts rather than as the outline of a single one. The following is how mine looks -- a single bolt outlined in white.
