Is my mid 2012 13" MacBook Pro compatible with PCIe SSD upgrade? I want to remove the internal optical drives and change it into the PCIe SSD, so that I'll have 2 internal storage. Will it do ?

Your mention of an optical drive tells me that you have a non-retina MBP. PCI and PCIe SSDs are NOT compatible with your MBP. You can install a standard 2.5" formfactor SSD in your MBP and still experience a marked increase in performance. I suggest SSDs from OWC and Crucial.

Not that I know if that will fit in any laptop. And even if you did that, the drive will run at SATAIII speeds anyway, since that is all your Macbook Pro can handle. There is nothing at all to be gained by attaching a PCIe device to a computer with a SATA logicboard bus.

Your MacBook Pro simply doesn't have a PCIe bus, so cannot connect to a PCIe drive. You need a SATAIII interface drive.
