Will this command "sudo chflags 0 /Volumes/*" delete my data?

I want to Unlock my external hard drive "it not shown on finder nor on utilities" it's WD My Passport 2 Tera.

I have read that this command unlock it:

"sudo chflags 0 /Volumes/*"

I have type it on Terminal then I got:


WARNING: Improper use of the sudo command could lead to data loss

or the deletion of important system files. Please double-check your

typing when using sudo. Type "man sudo" for more information.


To proceed, enter your password, or type Ctrl-C to abort.

Now ONLY answer if you sure that it delete or don't delete my data cause I don't want to lose it?
