Sling TV streaming issues

I am having significant issues consistently streaming content on Sling TV for Apple TV 4. Sling Support is of no help, saying it's a broadband issue, but my broadband is more than enough (150/25 fiber to the home). I have no issues watching 1080p movies from iTunes, Netflix and PBS Kids app. I never have issues with those services, but Sling consistently messes up. It refuses to stream a channel, VOD doesn't always work, it buffers and pixelates. Restarting the service seems to temporarily fix it.

Is anyone else using Sling on Apple TV having these same issues and have you found a resolution?

I had the exact same problem. All other apps stream just fine but Sling is virtually unwatchable. My resolution was to cancel my Sling subscription 2 days into my 7 day free trial. Its a shame, I had been looking forward to a Sling app for Apple TV for some time. This was a big letdown. Im gonna keep my eye out though and see if they seem to get it right and I'll try it again if they do.

Yes. I also am having SIGNIFICANT streaming issues with Sling TV on Apple TV. I immediately went to Google expecting similar issues when researching the issue. Was not surprised and expected to hear the same issues I am having. Expectations were met. I know I can't go to Apple. It's really not them. I know I can't go to my broadband carrier which is Verizon FIOS and I have the 100 MB up and down. If it was Verizon I would have known before now that there was an issue since I have had Verizon FIOS since Dec. 2013 with not one issue until Sling TV. It is not Verizon. I really think it is Sling TV. I think they are purposely slowing it down OR choosing a very poor method of transmission for their content. Why? So you will make the switch back to full cable and abandon your thoughts on making the switch, therefore going back to cable paying for your full cable network. Which works perfectly btw. Either way they win, but especially if you make the switch back to full subscription. Remember Sling TV is owned by DISH. They are not enjoying the calls to cancel in order to join Sling TV. YOU BE THE JUDGE! I am done with Sling TV even though I thought it was an awesome first thought. Enough said.
