Boomerang in Apple Mail?

For most of my emailing, I use Apple Mail (on my Mac with OSX 10.8.5) and my gmail account. I installed Boomerang in Safari and can use it there in my gmail account. To my delight, Boomerang mailboxes spontaneously appeared in my Apple Mail sidebar. My question is: is there any way of making the Boomerang buttons also become visible while using Apple Mail, so that I don't have to go to Safari/My gmail/Compose if I want to Boomerang an email, but can compose and Boomerang messages from Mail?

Thanks, BDAqua. I have written to the developers of Laytr to ask about system requirements and to clarify its functions. I have not yet had an answer, but at present it looks to me as if it does not do the one thing I value Boomerang most for — telling me whether an email of mine has been received and opened or not, by returning unopened emails after a specified number of hours or days.
