Refresh icloud drive

I have iCloud drive on my windows PC. Is there any way to "force" the PC to synch the files in the local icloud directory up to the cloud. I'm having trouble synching files from on Windows PC to another. It doesn't seem like the files in the cloud are refreshing in a timely manner, and there's no way to snow upload status.

It's work related so consistency is vital.
