Hello!

My birthday's coming up in a couple of weeks and, since I'm going to University now, my parents are thinking of getting me a mac for schoolwork (moving over from Windows). However, as you all know, the hard drive on the macs are really slow - and I'd rather get a 1080p mac with a fusion drive than a 4k one with the slow hard drive.

The problem is my parents can't really understand what I mean. So, I made the config that I'd like and saved it. But in order to access it you need to log in to my apple ID. Is there anyway to share it in some other way? Or perhaps create a wish list?

Thanks for any type of help!

Why not simply provide your parents with the specifications you need. I'd recommend a minimum of a Fusion drive and a minimum of 16GB of RAM if you going to get a 21.5" iMac. Maybe you can be on the phone with them while they are placing the order and prior to sending the order in they can confirm they have the correct specifications.

If for some reason that doesn't work, then get the specs and e-mail them to them and when they go into their local Apple Store they can order that model for you.
