Malwarebytes will not uninstall.

Posts in these forums just repeat what the Malwarebytes company states on their site. It just does not work. Here is what they state:

To uninstall Anti-Malware for Mac, launch the program and choose Uninstall Malwarebytes from the Help menu (The Help menu can be found in the menu bar at the top of the screen).

I launch the program, and a box of 3 options appears. The last section is called Help. Clicking on Help, anywhere on or close to Help, only takes you to a guideline that tells you nothing about uninstalling. The phrase 'Uninstall Malwarebytes' appears nowhere.

Also, the Help is at the bottom, not the top.

Am I the only one not getting this? Can anyone help me please?

Page Six of MalwareBytes Anti-Malware for Mac 1.2 User Guide in PDF

shows 'if you wish to remove ... Choose Uninstall'. See this screenshot.

You usually would be required to use your admin password to uninstall.

Also note, in my version MalwareBytes, the uninstall item in Help menu is grayed-out & in-op.

PS: edited 5 times, to try & remove errors created by format of copy+paste text from outside source.

Good luck & happy computing! 🙂
