I am using El Capitan, but I am unable to find the vendor-id and product-id of my external display. The most information I get via "System Information" is this:
But that doesn't contain none of that information. Any idea's?

what info do you need ?
the serial # is on the page before that one "about this mac"
that is the only thing Apple will ask for and no one else should be asking you for it.
