NFL Sunday Ticket on Apple tv 4, Where's the App?

To whom this may concern;

I've read countless articles this year/month that NFL Ticket was coming to apple TV 4 for the 2016 season. You can imagine my excitment as I don't have Directv... Anyways I've been going to the channel app store frequently and have yet to find the NFL Sunday Ticket App. Am I missing something? We're already in pre week 1. Is it possible that the NFL Sunday Ticket will be embedded within the NFL app curently in store? I'v done alot of research but cant find a straight answer other than its coming. Any help greatly appreciated

I have been burning Twitter up, calling Directv and such, the answer I received today was, the app will be out the first week of Sept, not holding my breath. But Directv stated they are waiting on apple!! I asked why would you state 4th generation is supported and take money for a product not even released....no answer...

Looks like Apple TV has been taken off the list. I purchased my new 4 for the sole purpose of streaming on there.

I Have been doing research with regards to this since posting this question. And while it seems like nobod in either company has a clue of what's going on with regards to this. i do infact think that a new atv 4 NFL sun ticket app will be out in early September. At least that's the consensus I'm getting. The question/answer you have posted from a direct/tv is a few months old prior to att announcing it.,. So here's hopin it's a waiting game now 😉

I've tweeted with @ATTCares multiple times tonight. They have no idea what they are talking about and the reps contradict each other. They provide links to outdated (2015) information. I even sent them this image showing Apple TV 4th gen is listed as a compatible device. One rep said the app could be downloaded to the Apple TV4, but when I wrote back to clarify if they are talking about AirPlay or an actual app within the ATV4, a different rep sent the link to the 2015 info. Unreal.
