contact Support in the country where you are (and which is therefore the country on your account) and see if they can reset them for you : Contact Apple for help with Apple ID account security

If your country isn't on that page try this form to contact Support : https://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html

If you refer this reply, then surely I have requested for help, but not received anything. Please help how to reset security question or what additional information that you need to reset the security questions.

By the way, another input.... my iPad is showing FaceTime calls are blocked as well. Dont know whether these two issues are relevant and will help in further investigations.

"You need to ask Apple's Account Security team to reset your security questions. To contact them, clickhereand pick a method; if that page doesn't list one for your country or you're unable to call, fill out and submitthis form."

I have had the same problem. Set up an account probably over 10 years ago, no idea about answers to the security questions or password. Managed to reset the password, but when signing in it asks for 2x security question answers. In knowing neither, it offers an option to reset the security questions. But low and behold, it asks for a security question to reset your security questions -> wow Apple that is the most incredible example of idiocy.

Thinking cooler heads would prevail over the phone I called their support centre, and what did they ask... what are the answers to your security questions!!!! I asked him point blank, if I do not know the answers to the security questions to reset my security questions, and I am the sole user of this account, then surely you are pointedly locking up my account in perpetuity, to which the service agent said yes I would never be able to use the account again unless I can remember the answers to my security questions.

Phenomenal incompetency of the highest order Apple, for one of the world's richest companies you would have thought they could have employed some logic.

I have an interesting twist on this error!

I received three emails from Apple - one that my billing address was changed, one that my date of birth and security questions were changed, and the last one that a purchase was made from a previously unassociated device in China. It seems pretty clear that my account was hacked.

No problem, I perform the reset password via e-mail option and change the password to something more secure. Next I try to log into the account to reset everything they had changed. In order to log into the account, it wants my security questions - the same questions that were just changed or setup by the hacker. (My account is pretty old, so I probably didn't have any security questions on the account since Apple added them in 2012 according to Google.) When I try to reset the security questions, I get the above error ("We do not have sufficient information to reset your security questions".)

No problem, I'll just call Apple. I call Apple and explain the situation. They need two pieces of information: a security pin that can be generated from the login screen (no problem), and the answer to one of the security questions. "Uhhh, remember when I just told you that the security questions were changed by someone in China?" Doesn't matter, they need one of those answered to unlock the account for me. They then coax me to try and remember the security questions, even though they were not questions I would ever choose. Then my account gets locked out for 8 hours from trying too many security question answers. The best part it that it also locks the Apple care specialist out of the account (what system doesn't allow customer service to override a lock???) So now I have to call back in another 8 hours. I also asked them what would happen if we can't guess any of the security questions. Their answer: "we would have to delete the account." It doesn't seem to matter that I have access to the account e-mail address, or 10 years of purchase information for the account, or that I have a string of e-mails that they sent me that clearly shows someone in China just broke into the account!

Luckily with the exception of a few songs I purchased like 10 years ago, I only use the account to buy itunes gift cards for the family each year. I would be furious if I had lots of music and app purchases like some people do. So 8 hours from now I'll see if the account can be unlocked, otherwise I'll have them delete it and start giving out Amazon gift cards for birthdays instead.

To reset your security qquestion read the first reply on this thread and contact Support via the one of the contact methods in it, don’t just copy and paste that reply.

For FaceTime no, they are separate things. If you are having a problem using FaceTime start a new thread in the relevant device forum on here giving full details of the problem and what you‘ve tried

I am in the same boat. 😠

I totally understand that someone may be trying to access a stolen phone and Apple cannot tell who I am over the phone. I do find it totally ridiculous that I spent two hours on the phone today with Apple trying to convince them that I am who I say I am and trying to figure out why my same security questions still work for my Apple Account, but are no longer working for my iCloud account? Why in the heck can't I be authenticated using my Apple Id questions.

The solution will be to vote with my wallet, tell Sprint where they can put this iPhone, and go buy a Droid.

This is "crapple", Apple!
