Watch locked!

Hi,
My son was playing with my watch and entered a random passcode, several times I suspect.

It's now been locked for over an hour. It said "wrong password try again in 60 min" but after that

a new 60 min period has started, without me being able to enter a passcode after the first 60 min had passed.

My phone is working all ok.
I have turned my watch off and on again, no change.
Grateful for any suggestions!
