Why can't I delete a song WITHOUT hiding it?

I am about to claw my face off because I can't understand why on this earth I cannot delete a song out of my iTunes Library WITHOUT BEING FORCED TO HIDE THE SONG IN MY PURCHASED LIST. WHO IN GOD'S NAME wrote this part of the program???????? Why in the name of God does someone think that just because I don't want a song viewed in my Library, that I don't ever want it in my purchased list again????? This is RIDICULOUS.. and this is a very new feature, I have done this a BILLION times before. But now, it's not even possible. What I'm trying to do is delete every file/song in my Library and build it from scratch with all the music files I have saved on my hard drive. I don't need to see anything from my purchased list. BUT I DON'T WANT IT HIDDEN from there. My hidden purchases are purchases I NEVER want to hear again. I don't want to have to SIFT through the hidden purchases when at any given time I want to find a frequently played song. They are SEPARATE FOR A REASON. When I install iTunes and open it, it AUTOMATICALLY shows me every song that I bought (in my purchased list), even though I haven't downloaded or loaded in a single file to the software (it has the cloud next to it). I am going to delete iTunes entirely and find another music server service, even if it means I pay a license fee. I am SO beyond the BS and how iTunes does not function with the user in mind, it is written for Apple and their promotion. Does ANYONE have any idea how I can use this like I am requesting, not this ridiculous crap?
