I already a lot of calibration with different tools :
- displayCal
- basICColor
- ColorNavigator NX
- i1Profiler
which i used with an i1Display Pro.
But definitely, the mac screen from my iMac got pure blacks and pure whites. My Eizo screen CX271 haven't the same range of lights.
To compare, i have done a simple thing :
While booting on windows10 bootcamp, i disabled the "full range" to make it 16-235, and i got the same rendering as when i'm in macOSX : blacks are lighter and whites are darker on the Eizo CX271. When i activate again the "full range" to "0-255", the rendering of the iMac screen equals the Eizo CX271 with pure blacks and pure whites.
I think there is a problem for MacOSX to send via DisplayPort the correct signal in 0-255 range and send just a 16-236 signal...
Eizo reported before an issue with other screens :

That's why I suspect I got the same for my CX271.
This is not an hardware problem (it works fine on windows bootcamp, so the DisplayPort is ok) but i really think that MacOSX don't send a good signal.
