So, right now, I can't turn on my ipod, I can't charge it, and I can't restore or reset it in any way that I've found. I try to power it on, and the apple logo appears for a second, them disappears again. This happens even after extensive charging. Can anyone give me a hand? I need this thing to turn on before I sell it.

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Thank you for copying and pasting the exact same answer that is all over the internet. Fortunately, I had already described that most of these steps had already been taken in my opening post. Please, if you're going to try to help, take the time to actually read my question and formulate an answer appropriate to my situation instead of copying and pasting the exact same thing I've already read twenty times.
