hi, my airplay icon is always blue!!

ok now if icon black it switched back on its own when you restarted now go into settins/sound/ you will see output devices in the sound prefrances switch it to your mac speakers unless you have external speakers plugged into headphone jack then switch to headphones

Ok what are you airplaying too an apple tv?? whatever it is turn it off if it is not powered on there is nothing too airplay too. also you may look and make sure that your mac or iphone is set as primary display again in the display setting because when you airplay you create 2 destops that can be used independantly. but i would power off the airplay device first should fix the problem.

if you click the airplay icon a drop down menu will apear then click turn airplay off
