Two Issues with iTunes!

1. How do you save Playlists in iTunes when you want to sync your phone? I am constantly creating Playlists of favorite songs and then losing them all when I sync my phone. I guess user error? But it is so annoying. I really can't even.

2. I don't want to sync my Photos with everything else on my iPhone but it seems impossible to turn off?

I guess there are 3 issues!

3. How can you delete photos from Photos on your iPhone and not delete them on your Mac? What is the point of having a huge storage space on my computer/Mac when I can't delete photos off my phone to free up space because they will also be deleted out of Photos on my Mac? Again. Can't even.

Maybe there are simple answers to these, my frustrations, and I would love to hear them if they are out there! Thanks!

1) You lose them in iTunes? When you create a playlist in iTunes on your computer , it says there until you actively delete it. Please explain

2) Photos only sync if you select them to sync. Simply select the box to not sync photos.

3) This is not how it works. Any changes made on your iPhone have no impact on your computer.

Please explain as your issues are generally not how the iPhone works.

Hi

How photos are managed depends on the services that you are using.

If you are using iCloud Photo Library, then deleting a photo or video on any one device that is using this service will delete that item across all of them and within iCloud.

The following resources may prove helpful in explaining some of various available services and actions for managing photos and videos:

If you are syncing photos manually via iTunes (see under "Turn off iTunes syncing"):

iCloud Photo Library

iCloud Photo Sharing
