How do I post images from a Photos album to an internet forum?
Use Safari or any web browser that supports the media browser and upload them (in the upload selection window toward teh bottom of the source pane on the left under media ==> photos ==> Photos)

THanks for your reply. However, in the sidebar at the bottom of the Finder page, there is nothing below the colored dots - no Media line. Have I neglected to do something?
The finder is not involved in any way - you can not access your Photos database using the finder
As I posted you use the media browser in the upload window of safari - not the finder

This doesn't work for google photos for some reason...
Can you confirm? I was happy to handle photos locally in iPhotos and in the cloud in Picasa for so many years, by simply drag and drop.
Picasa is gone for a few months, and now I upgraded to Mac Sierra without iPhotos.
Now I have mac Photos and Google Photos, which ultimately seems to block each other.
No drag and drop, no upload from a dialog.
Thinking about getting back to the comfortable mountain lion...
