Disk Image Driver can't be loaded

I'm running an old Mac Plus with System 7.5.3 on it. It's working pretty well, except for that the Disk Image Driver wouldn't load. It worked on System 7.0.1, but it won't on anything above that. It's weird. The exact error message I've received when I executed a smi file is "The Disk Image driver could not be loaded. (-21)." It has an OK button on the box. I'm wondering if it's just the incompatibility of the computer or a problem with the driver. Please reply.

A first and least-cost attack may be to download a fresh copy of Disk Copy (assuming that you were not using the shareware [as it was] ShrinkWrap) from here. Awkwardly, you will need StuffIt to decode the .bin file, but doing so should give you a self-mounting image of Disk Copy.
