Can't see Now Playing screen

I don't know how to navigate to the Now Playing screen while listening to a podcast. The User Guide doesn't help. Can someone instruct me?

iPod touch (6th generation), iOS 9.3.5, using Podcasts app

Yes, thank you. I waited a long time for an answer, and in the meantime, I 'discovered' that swiping the mini-player upward would put me on the full screen player. Maybe the system is interp[reting my swipe as a tap! But is this mentioned anywhere in the User Guide? I couldn't find it.

Anyway, I'll try tapping instead of swiping and see if it works for me.

The navigation in the Podcasts app is pretty much the same as music is in iOS 9. If you're playing a podcast, the now playing window shrinks to a thin panel above the button menu at the bottom. You can toggle between the windows by tapping on the middle of this panel to make it full screen, or tap on the down arrow in the upper left to shrink it back down.

Is that what you're asking about?
